Belief 2 - He loved Radha more but Lord Vishnu or God wanted to see Rukmini as wife of Krishna.
Belief 3 - News spreaded that he had affairs with Gopis which spoiled the temper of Radha to beyond imagination levels and so to punish Krishna she agreed to marry some other boy chosen by his father. He was a soldier in Kan's defence so was very powerful and was considered an elligible bachelor by Radha's parents.
Belief 4 - Innocent love of Radha saw how cute & good Krishna is! She wanted the world should know this. Hence she gave the great sacrifice of her love. As soon as she gave sacrifice Lord Vishnu came into action and holded Krishna so that he can become Narayan from Nara and as Radha dreamt even today Lord Krishna is worshipped as God and he has so many temples. Without Radha's sacrifice Krishna might had not become God or so popular. Today he possesses a divine bodies which Lord Vishnu posses means just as untimely deaths leads to creations of Ghosts from humans that way Lord Krishna became God or Narayan after his death and also during his lifetime all powers of Lord Vishnu and Tridev accompanied him to fulfill the works or assignments of Tridevs .

Their relation was spiritual where Radha represents the soul and Krishna the super soul. Krishna left Brindavan at the age of Barely 10 and went to Mathura.
Shree Radha is the soul of Krishna. Like we have our souls which is dear to us more than our lives. We don't physically marry our souls. It is a divine marriage which only can be understood when we understand what God is !
